The State Headquarters of Orissa State Bharat Scouts and Guides located at the center of the temple city of Bhubaneswar, the Capital of Orissa. Bhubaneswar is known for its rich ancient cultural and historical heritage. The Lingaraj Temple, the abode lord Shiva is the spiritual heart-thurb of the city and nearby hillock Dhauli is historically known for the famous Kalinga War. Besides, the Khandagiri, Udayagiri hills and river Daya speak of legends of history and add to the religious and spiritual temper of the Capital City. The Headquarters of Bharat Scouts and Guides is adjacent to the famous Sri Rama Mandir and can be reached from Rly. State which is hardly 1k.m. away and main Bus stand which is only 7 kms away. It is also linked by air service and distant from airport only 5 kmts.

The State Head-quarters complex is a unique architectural design of U shaped structure with rich greenery provided by flowering trees which provide an impressive canopy to the public view. It is this sprawling campus which provides excellent infrastructure to hold all activities of Bharat Scouts and Guides. This complex comprises a Conference Hall, Kitchen Block, Self Employment Cell, Guest House, Stage and Gallery, Equipment Store House, Library Room with Reading Corner. Separate Sanitation Block for Gents and Ladies, Administrative Block, Training Hall, Co-operative Bank, Staff Quarters, L.I.C. Branch Office, STD Booth, Canteen etc. In nutshell, it is a self sufficient multi purpose campus providing infrastructure facilities of all activities and programmes in all seasons.
