The Odisha State Bharat Scouts and Guides organized a State-level Cub Bulbul Utsav-2024 at its State Headquarters premises from November 18-22, 2024. The Utsav was inaugurated by Sri Krushna Chandra Nayak, Additional Director, Elementary Education, Odisha, in the presence of Sri Kali Prasad Mishra, State Chief Commissioner & National Vice President, Bharat Scouts and Guides, and Sri Sarat Chandra Paikaray, State Secretary.
720 Cubs and Bulbuls, accompanied by their leaders, participated from various schools across the state. On the first day, a mask-making competition was held among the Cubs and Bulbuls. In the evening, the guests enjoyed a merry cultural program presented by the Cubs and Bulbuls.
On 19.11.2024 the 2nd day of Cub Bulbul Utsav was graced by Sri Ananta Nayanan Jena, Hon’ble MLA & Vice President OSBSG, Smt. Nirupama Mangaraj, District Secretary, Bhubaneswar and Smt. Ranjulata Ray, Corporator, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation.
In this day Physical Display competition, Cub/Bulbul Greeting Competition, Model Making, Handicraft competition, Mina Bazar and Group Dance Competition were organized.
On 3rd day, Smt. Pragnya Paramita Jena, Block Education Puri was present. That day Yoga, Decoration of Bulbul Tree and Totempole, Play acting, Cat walk, Red flower etc. competition were organsied.
On 21.11.2024, the Valedictory function of State level Cub Bulbul Utsav 2024 was graced by Sj. Babu Singh, Hon’ble MLA, Ekamra Bhubaneswar in presence of Sj. Dasarathi Satapathy, OSD, Odisha Legislative Assembly, Bhubaneswar and Sj. Ashok Kumar Rath, State Commissioner, OSBSG and Dr. Kali Prasad Mishra, National Vice President and State Chief Commissioner, OSBSG with Sj. Sarat Chandra Paikaray , State Secretary, OSBSG at State Headquarter premises , unit-III, Bhubaneswar.
