Maha Shivaratri Service Camp

On 26th February, 2025, a large gathering of devotees assembled at the Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar to celebrate Mahashivaratri. The Odisha State Bharat Scouts and Guides organized a service camp to provide various services to the devotees.

Around 160 Rover and Ranger provided services such as:

• Cleaning the temple premises
• Distributing water and food
• Managing traffic and crowd control
• Providing first aid and medical assistance

They also helped to maintain order and discipline among the devotees. The service camp was organized under the guidance of State Secretary Sri Sarat Chandra Paikaray and Joint State Secretary Sri Mihir Ranjan Pattanaik.

All the officials from the State Headquarters of Bharat Scouts and Guides cooperated to make the service camp a success.

Different districts Bharat Scouts and Guides also rendered service in Shaiv Pitha in different manners.
