On October 2, 2025, Odisha State Bharat Scouts and Guides celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and Shastri Jayanti in various districts. On this occasion, Scouts and Guides carried Gandhi’s photo banner and conducted a village procession. They visited schools and colleges, paid floral tributes to Gandhi’s statue and photographs and also participated in the Swachhata Abhiyan and tree plantation drive. Additionally, clothes were donated to the poor and needy. Lectures and discussions were held about Gandhi’s life.
