Ratha Yatra National Service Camp

The Odisha State Bharat Scouts and Guides organized a National Service Camp on the occasion of Rath Yatra from June 25, 2025, to June 28, 2025, at Vishwambhara Vidyapitha, Puri. The camp was attended by over 400 Rovers, Rangers, Scouts, and Guides from various districts and states, including Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and different railway zones. On 26.5.2025, at the inauguration ceremony held at Puri Town Hall under the patronage of State Chief Commissioner and National Vice President Dr. Kali Prasad Mishra, the Hon’ble Governor of Odisha and Chief Patron of Odisha State Bharat Scouts and Guides Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati formally inaugurated the camp by lighting the lamp. Hon’ble Minister for School and Mass Education Shri Nityanand Gond and Hon’ble Minister for Health Shri Mukesh Mahalinga were present as the Guests of Honour and advised the Rovers and Rangers to provide proper services to the devotees coming for the holy Rath Yatra.

Rovers, Rangers, Scouts and Guides were divided into different teams and provided various services to the devotees in different parts of the city like distribution of drinking water, irrigation, vehicle control, provision of first aid, taking injured devotees to hospitals, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan etc.
