Udaan Camp

The Odisha State Bharat Scouts and Guides organized the “UDAAN” Camp at State Headquarters in Unit-III, Bhubaneswar. The event started on November 18, 2025, and continued until November 22, 2025. A total of 750 Scouts and Guides from 25 districts participated in the camp.

On the inaugural day, November 19, 2025, a lamp-lighting ceremony was held under the presidency of Dr. Kali Prasad Mishra, National Vice President and State Chief Commissioner of Bharat Scouts and Guides. The dignitaries present to light the lamp included Sj. Babu Singh, Hon’ble MLA, Bhubaneswar; Smt. Subhashree Nanda, IAS, Additional Secretary, Planning & Convergence Department & State Commissioner, Odisha State Bharat Scouts and Guides; and Sri Birendra Kumar Korkora, IAS, Director, Secondary Education, Odisha.
The guests inspired the Scouts and Guides to become good citizens. Activities organized during the camp included a Physical Display, a Food Market, a Debate Competition,

In the evening, the Honourable Guests graced the cultural program with their presence and participated in the festivities with joy.

On the Valedictory function on 22.11.2025 Chief Guest- Sri Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, President, Odisha State Bharat Scouts and Guides, Hon’ble Guest – Sri Ananta Narayan Jena, Hon’ble MLA, Bhubaneswar (Central), Vice President, Odisha State Bharat Scouts and Guides. – Dr. (Smt.) Minati Behera, Vice President, Odisha State Bharat Scouts and Guides. Sri Samarendra Bhutia, OAS Officer on Special Duty, Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sammittee were present and distributed mementos and certificates to the students.
