Vana Mahotsav Week

The Odisha State Bharat Scouts and Guides observed Van Mahotsav Week from July 1st to 7th, 2025. During this occasion, a mass plantation drive was conducted across different districts, aiming to promote environmental awareness and instill the value of green living among students. The enthusiastic participation of Scouts and Guides demonstrated their commitment to a greener future, contributing meaningfully to environmental conservation efforts.

On the eve of Van Mahotsav Week, a drawing competition was organized with the theme “Our Environment, Our Life,” where Scouts and Guides showcased their creativity and concern for nature through vibrant artwork. The event spread awareness about the importance of protecting nature and living in harmony with the environment.

Additionally, students participated in a march to raise awareness among the public. Tree saplings were planted in School College campus and nearby areas, and fruit-bearing and other plant seedlings were distributed to students and staff members for planting in their residential areas.
