World Environment Day

World Environment Day was observed by Odisha State Bharat Scouts and Guides at Raghunath Sadan, State Headquarters Premises, Unit-III, Bhubaneswar.  The programme was graced by Prof. Manoj Kumar Rout, Khordha, in the presence of Sri Mihir Ranjan Pattanaik, Joint State Secretary, OSBSG.

Scouts, Guides, and Adult Leaders from various local schools of Bhubaneswar district attended the programme and actively participated in Poster Making and Elocution Competitions organized on the occasion.

Prof. Rout distributed certificates and mementoes to the winners and appreciated their enthusiasm and commitment towards environmental conservation. Addressing the gathering, he emphasized the importance of collective action for protecting the environment and remarked, “Let’s work together to keep our planet clean, green, and sustainable.”

The programme aimed to encourage environmental awareness and inspire individuals to take meaningful action for the protection and preservation of nature, in line with the spirit of World Environment Day.
