WORLD HEART DAY

The Odisha State Bharat Scouts & Guides and Gastro & Liver Care Foundation jointly observed World Heart Day at the State Headquarter Premises, Unit-III, Bhubaneswar on 29.9.2026, with a drawing competition and an awareness rally to promote heart-healthy habits among children, youth, and the community.

The programme was graced by Sj. Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Hon’ble President, Odisha State Bharat Scouts & Guides, who encouraged Scouts, Guides, Rovers and Rangers to become messengers of healthy living in their schools and localities.

Dr. Manoj Kumar Sahu, Gastroenterologist & GI Medicine specialist, Gastro and Liver Care Foundation shared expert insights on preventing lifestyle-related diseases and caring for heart health.
